Play Off#2 kicked off between Karachi Gladiators and Royal Group Falcons. 2 Brothers, Fahad and Zohaib faced off with Falcons batting first and losing star opener Talha Ahmedani for duck. Things did not get any better after that as one down in form batsmen Taqi Azad was also dismissed for 0. Hammad Sheikhani then held the innings from one end to lead the recovery with 54 runs. He was further supported by Saad Saleem's cameo of 27 and Adeel Abbasi's much needed 42. Gladiators bowlers however continued to keep the pressure on with Naveed Khan and Hunain Usman taking 2 wickets each. Royal Group Falcons ended at 153 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Karachi Gladiators started off in similar fashion, losing their opener Sami Afridi cheaply and one down Rameez Mehboob for duck. However it was the ever reliable Rabish Ahmed's innings that made all the difference. His 51 run knock boosted his side with the help of Hunain Usman and Asad's twin knocks of 30. Despite Ubaid Umer's 2 wickets, Karachi Gladiators chased down the target in 19.2 overs.
