Unfit Legends batted first against Sons of Pitches at the opening match of the Sugar Bowl and lost 2 quick wickets. Opener Owais Balagamwala however then lead the recovery along with Iqbal Butt scoring 67 and 76 runs respectively to pull their team right back in the game. Sons of Pitche bowlers struggled to contain the flow of runs but Ali Aamir picked up 2 wickets. Unfit Legends eventually ended at 177 for 4 in 20 overs.
In response, Sons of Pitches also lost opener Noman for just 6 runs but the team bounced back in fine fashion. Zubair Arif was in sublime form smashing a match winning 91 runs to take his side to victory. Skipper Kumail Ally also contributed a cameo of 26 lower down the order as SOP raced home in 15.4 overs. Unfit Legends bowlers were never really in the game with only Shams Arfeen putting up a fight, taking 3 wickets.
