Automobile Corporation batted first against Master Motors at the FAW FOAP Tournament. Abbas and Danish Suleman were very impressive at the top, setting their side up with knocks of 39 and 30 respectively. After the pair were dismissed however, none of the other batsmen were able to effectively contribute runs with 4 of the players being dismissed in single digits including 2 ducks. Master Motors bowlers did well to take advantage of the situation, striking when needed to restrict Automobile to 95 for 6 in 20 overs. Their bowling unit chipped in and worked well together.
In response, Master Motors lost opener Ehtisham for duck but it was smooth sailing after that. Afzal was in sublime form smashing an unbelievable 65 not out off just 22 balls including 8 massive sixes. Automobile bowlers could do little to stop the onslaught as Master Motors chased down the target in 6.4 overs.
Master Motors won by 7 wickets.
