Shakoor & Co batted first against Shaheeh Freight on Day 2 of the FAW FOAP tournament. Openers Mohsin Jafri and Jahanzaib Khan did well to set their side up with valuable knocks of 16 and 41 respectively. The team however imploded after that. The remaining batsmen threw away their wickets, unable to keep the momentum going. Haris Ejaz was the key wicket taker for Shaheen Freight, taking 2 wickets as Shakoor & Co ended at 92 for 4 in 8 overs.
In response, Shaheen Freight simply could not get going in the chase. With the exception of Waqas Malik's 24, none of the other batsmen stayed on the crease long enough to make an impact. There were however sprinklings of cameos that threatened a possible win with Malik's 10 and Asad's 16. Qasim however stopped the team in their tracks with an outstanding 3 wickets as Shaheen Freight were restricted to 87 for 6 in 8 overs.
Shakoor & Co won by 5 runs.
