The Khatri Super League 2nd Edition kicked off with Khatri Jaguars and Khatri Dolphins going head to head. Khatri Jaguars batted first and struggled throughout their innings. After losing opener Gul E Abbas cheaply for just 7 runs, wickets continued to fall frequently. With the exception of Irfan Ibrahim's 33, none of the players showed any intent. Dolphins bowlers were in sublime form with Shahriyar, Abdul Hai and Asad taking 3 wickets each. Khatri Jaguars were bowled out for a low 110 in 17.3 overs.
In response, Dolphins were off to a disastrous start in the chase, losing their top 4 batsmen cheaply. With a low total to chase however, Asim Arbani and Kashif Moosani's cameos of 26 and 27 runs respectively helped them over the line. Jaguars bowlers however did well to fight back with Kamran Rampuria in particular taking 4 wickets.
Khatri Dolphins won by 4 wickets.
