Jibran Rufi’s 74 v Raheel’s 3 wickets

Revolution Star batted first against Gulshan Becks at the 6th Big Bash League. The top order worked well together with Raheel, Shezad Khan and Furqan Waris contributing knocks of 31, 31 and 43 runs respectively to set a solid foundation. Asif Khan further capitalised with a blistering 35 off just 14 balls as Revolution Star posted 171 for 7 in 20 overs. Gulshan Becks bowlers tried to pull things back with Vicky Ali leading the charge, taking 3 wickets in his spell. Kamran Siddique and Fawad also picked up 2 wickets each.

In response, Gulshan Becks were off to a flying start and were absolutely cruising at one stage of the game. Opener Jibran Rufi smashed an impressive 74 at the top. Fawad and Ali Manzar kept the momentum going with 37 and 30 runs respectively before Stars bowlers took the game away. Raheel's fiery spell of 3 for 26 helped restrict the flow of runs and in a surprise twist, Gulshan Becks found themselves at only 162 for 5 in 20 overs.

Revolution Star clinch victory by 9 runs.
