Cocoon Home batted first against Benitoz Panthers at the all important final of the Legends Cup by DK Investments. 2 of the strongest sides in the league faced off with Cocoon's opener Ameer Raza and Azhar Khan putting up a good front to get things going. Ameer knocked 36 runs while Azhar contributed an exquisite 56 off 39 balls. The team however seemed to lose their way after that with Daniyal Ali striking with the ball. His 3 wickets rattled the opposition further supported by star bowler Umer Chawla's 2 wickets. Cocoon Home lost a flurry of quick wickets posting a target of 177 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Benitoz Panthers had opener Daniyal Ali lead from the front. The star all rounder knocked 36 runs. The team however never really built an innings at any stage, getting off to some decent starts before throwing away their wickets. Cocoon's bowlers did well to restrict the opposition, the team working in tandem to pick up wickets throughout the innings. Benitoz Panthers struggled in the chase with the exception of Madni Waqas Raja who fought hard with an impressive 44 not out but he had no partner to keep things going. Waleed, Israr, Sadiq and Hasan took 2 wickets each as Benitoz Panthers were limited to 153 for 9 in 20 overs.
Cocoon Home defeated the Panthers by 24 runs and won the Legends Cup by DK Investments.
