Stallions batted first against Stags at the Khatri Super League Season 2. Opener Tehseen however was dismissed for duck and caused a panic in the batting line up. The team continued to struggle against the opposition, throwing away their wickets before they could build any momentum. Ahsan Patel and Asad Bandhara were the only two players to show some resistance with knocks of 31 runs respectively. Stags bowlers were in form and on fire, taking wickets consistently and giving nothing away. Danish Gharyali was the stand out bowler for his side with 3 wickets while Faheel Ahmed picked up a couple as Stallions ended at 147 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response, Stags came together as a team with each of their batsmen chipping away to keep the scoreboard ticking. Nizar Ilyas's 29 and Mustajab Hassan's 34 run innings were the most notable knocks for their side. With a low total to chase, Stags were over the line in 16.4 overs. Stallions bowlers tried hard to limit the opposition with Qasim Kunra in particular taking 2 wickets but were unable to stop the flow of runs.
Khatri Stags won by 5 wickets.
