Jaguars batted first against Stallions at the Khatri Super League 2nd Edition. Things started off shaky for the batting side when they lost opener Irfan for just 10 runs but nobody could have predicted the collapse that followed. Gul E Abbas was the top scorer for his side with 25 runs. Shakaib and Sikander chipped 19 and 17 away before the top order was dismissed to make way for an implosion. None of the other players could get going at any stage with the remainer being dismissed in single digits. Qasim and Hassan's twin spells of 2 wickets for 16 runs did the maximum damage while Ishaq also picked up a couple. Jaguars were dismissed for 100 runs in 19.2 overs.
In response, Stallions stumbled in the chase with their top order being dismissed in single digits. However opener Ahsan Patel teamed up with Shezad Dedia to contribute knocks of 27 and 39 respectively to set up a comfortable victory. With a low total to chase there wasn't any real scoreboard pressure and eventually 11 runs by Ali Raza sealed the win in 14 overs. Fazal E Abbas and Hassam took 2 wickets each for Jaguars but it was too little too late.
Stallions won by 5 wickets.
