Hill Park and Alpha CC played at Hill Park Cricket Club in a t20 encounter. Hill Park batted first and lost Fauz ul Hassan for 12 and Rameez Mehboob their ace batsman was out after scoring only 1 run. Muzammil Mehboob with 39 runs and Waleed with 30 runs stabilized the innings while Abdul Wali with 21 contributed at the tail end and Hill Park ended at a respectable 134 for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. For Alpha CC, Areeb was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets while Arif got 2 and Danyal and Adeel picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Alpha CC lost Inam, Yousuf and Arsal in quick succession but arif who had opened the innings remained steadfast and scored a valuable 46 runs off 18 deliveries at a fantastic strike rate of 256% to release the pressure on the team. Fahad Saleem with 43 not out and Areeb with 20 not out then ensured that Alpha CC reached home for the loss of 5 wickets and with 9 balls to spare. For Hill Park, Salman took 2 wickets.
