Mateen Enterprises and Pak XI played against each other at Moin Khan Cricket Academy at the 6th Big Bash League. Mateen Enterprises batted first and Asif gave them a good start with 33 valuable runs. In the middle order, Dr Kashan with 28 , Farhad Pollard with 24 and Shah Hussain with 29 chipped in with handy knocks as Mateen Enterprises ended at a good score of 156 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 18 overs. For Pak XI, 3 wickets were taken by Waqas while Amir and Sajid got 2 wickets each and Zohaib picked up a wicket.
In reply, Pak XI had a disappointing performance with the bat as none of the batsmen clicked and only Waqas with 17, Mutahir with 14 and Amir and Danish with 12 each made some contributions. The team was skittled out for a mere 92 runs and could only bat 15 overs. For Mateen Enterprises, Waleed was the pick of the bowlers and chief destroyer as he took 4 wickets for just 12 runs. Shah Husain, Dr Kashan and Asad provided further support with 2 wickets each.
Mateen Enterprises won by 64 runs.
