Youngsters CC were ruthless against the seasoned Royal Stars team with their bowlers turning up in fine form.
Youngsters batted first and lost openers Atif and Moeed cheaply early on in the innings. Obaid and Arsalan however lead the recovery with knocks of 51 and 44 runs respectively to pull their team back in the game. The team eventually ended at a low score of 127 with Royal Stars bowlers doing well to restrict the flow of runs. Shaheer Azim was the most notable bowler for his side with 2 wickets.
The 2nd innings however was a complete one sided affair. Royal Stars batsmen had no chance in the chase, throwing away their wickets, unable to face the brutal bowling line up. 9 of the batsmen were dismissed in single digits with the exception of Khizar Azam's 31 as the Stars collapsed in epic fashion. Youngsters bowlers were in form and on fire! Junaid's 3 for 7 and Hassan and Noor's 2 wickets each bowled out Royal Stars for just 65 runs in 7.4 overs.
Youngsters CC won by 62 runs.
