Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana batted first against Wintex Strikers at the Ramzan FC Cup. Opener Farhan Asif was in form with a handy 37 to get his team off to a decent start. The team lost a few quick wickets before Ammar Iqbal stepped up with a blistering 49 off 45 balls. He was unlucky to have been bowled out by Noman Saleem before reachng his half century. M Zubair also knocked 37 runs as NGHK posted a competitive target of 164 in 20 overs. Wintex Strikers kept the opposition subdued for the most part with Adnan Ghazi taking 2 wickets and Noman and Adeel picking up a wicket each.
In response, Wintex Strikers opener Adnan Salim was unstoppable. His fiery 65 off 41 set his side for a very comfortable victory. Minor cameos of 23, 29 and 32 by Faisal, Ghazanfar and Aamir had the strikers chase down the target in 19.2 overs. Nazeer Hussain's bowlers were unable to pick wickets when needed with the exception of Faisal Mujtaba with his 3 scalps.
Wintex Strikers won by 7 wickets.
