Wintex Strikers batted first at the Z International Ramzan Challengers FC Cup against FBCA and what a night it was for opener Usman Ghani! He knocked an exquisite 141 runs off just 63 balls including 7 boundaries and 15 sixes to destroy any hopes the bowlers had. Adnan Salim and Saad Ahmed knocked 27 and 21 runs respectively but they needed to do nothing with Usman singlehandedly setting a mammoth total of 222 in 20 overs. Ammar Riaz picked up 2 wickets for his side but could do little to stop the onslaught.
In response, Wintex bowlers turned up against the chasing side to restrict the opposition to 155 runs. Adnan Ghazi made quick work of the top order picking up 3 wickets in his spell. Adeel Abbasi and Faisal Butt also took 2 wickets each. Saad Asif and Sadam Ul Haq tried to fight back with impressive knocks of 50 and 37 runs respectively but the scoreboard pressure proved to be too much.
Wintex Strikers won by 67 runs.
