ICT played against Sharks CC as part of 20th Challengers Cup match. ICT batted first and the dangerous Adeel Khan was out after scoring just 7 runs. Talha Ahmedani got a good start but was out for 12 while Ali Iqbal was dismissed for 19 runs. Haris Altaf and Ibaad Khan followed in quick succession and Ajdal Aziz with 23 runs, Sabih Merchant with 24 runs and Shahzaib Farooq with 22 runs got good starts but could not capitalize and ICT ended at 144 for 9 in 20 overs. For Sharks CC, Ahmed Ali and Ali Butt took 3 wickets each while Asad Ali took 2 wickets and Sajjad picked up a wicket.
In reply, Sharks CC lost Kamran, Yaseen and Farhan in quick succession but Salman with 20 runs and Rehan with 27 runs stabilized the innings before Ali Butt played an extraordinary match winning knock of 61 not out off just 42 deliveries and was assisted by Ghazanfar Baloch who got 13 off just 7 deliveries as Sharks CC reached home with 4 deliveries to spare and for the loss of 5 wickets. For ICT, Shahzaib Ahmed took 3 wickets while Salman Dossani got 2 wickets.
Sharks CC won by 5 wickets.
