Trail Blazers Cricket Club played against Karachi Hawks at SKBZ cricket ground. Trail Blazers batted first and Faisal Butt was in fine form as he hit 45 runs off 26 deliveries while Tayyab R Balagamwala got 28 runs at the other end. Nauman Mustafa upped the ante with 46 runs before Adeel Abbasi scored 29 runs to ensure Trail Blazers ended at a decent score of 174 for 5 in 20 overs. For Hawks, Hasan took 2 wickets while Talha, Haider and Idrees Durrani got a wicket each.
In reply, Hawks were off to a good start as Faraz Qazi hit a quick fire 30 runs. Talha and Ali Zaidi got starts but were out for 12 and 18 respectively as they couldn’t capitalize further. Mujahid fought back with 63 off 44 deliveries but some good economical bowling by Murtaza Salim and Adeel Abbasi ensured that the net run rate always remained out of grasp of the batsmen and Hawks ended at 156 for 6 in 20 overs. For Trail Blazers, Adeel and Adamjee Tai and Murtaza got a wicket each while Tayyab took 2 wickets and there was one run out .
Result: Trail Blazers won by 18 runs
