Okhai Friends CC batted first against DPLC with Haris Ali and Fawad Ghafoor turning up the heat. After the openers were dismissed fairly cheaply, the dynamic duo put up 68 and 54 runs to take their side to a competitive 184 for 5 in 20 overs. None of the other batsmen even came close to putting up a fight against the DPLC bowlers. Mohsin was the key wicket taker for his side with 2 scalps but the bowling line up was weak against the opposition.
In response, DPLC lost opener Saad Sattar early on with things only getting worse after that. Daniyal Latif was the most impressive player for the chasing side with his knock of 38 but it was Fawad Ghafoor who once again proved his worth. His spell of 3 wickets help rip DPLC apart as the chasing side were restricted to 152 for 9 in 20 overs.
