Super Daddy CC played against Karachi Titans at SKBZ cricket ground. SDCC batted first and lost opener Omar Shahid for just 9 runs. Adeel Mansha on the other hand made 32 off 17 balls while Rehan Sheikh knocked a sedate 28 runs off 37 deliveries. Captain Shahram Rasool got 13 runs but none of the other batsmen could score reasonably and SDCC labored to 129 for 9 in 20 overs. For Titans, Issam and Asad got 2 wickets each while Saud, Shahrukh, Gul and Afzal picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Titans chasing a low score had a decent start as Fawad scored 33 runs and Afzal got 15 runs. However, Faisal Qureshi, Babar mufti and Rehan Sheikh then pulled the brakes as they took 2 wickets each and none of the middle order batsmen could reach double figures with only Omar Khan scraping 10 runs. Tariq Yousuf and Omar shahid also got a wicket each as Karachi Titans managed to score only 94 runs. A remarkable comeback by SDCC after the opposing team had got off to a good start and their bowlers kept their cool and bowled some wonderful line and length to secure an exciting victory.
