Al Haram Catering batted first against Royal Stars with opener Abdullah Yaqoob putting on a spectacular performance. He smashed an incredible 104 off just 58 runs including 4 sixes to dominate Royal Stars bowlers. Hamza Shahnawaz also chipped in with 34 runs but the rest of the team completely collapsed with 6 of their players being dismissed in single digits. Royal Stars bowlers tried to attack on their end with Waleed Tariq taking 2 wickets and the rest of the bowling unit chipping in. Al Haram catering ended at 185 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Royal Stars lost opener Umair Nasir for just 6 runs but recovered well after that. Khizar Azam's 43, Muqarrab's 29 and Shaheer Azim's 34 gave their side some hope as the Stars looked well on their way to chasing down the target. The team however lost quick wickets after that with only Waleed Tariq trying to fight back with 14. Saad Aarbi, Zeeshan Aarbi and Ibrahim Farooq did well to pull back the opposition with 2 wickets each as Royal Stars eventually fell short, ending at 163 for 8 in 20 overs.
Al Haram Catering won by 22 runs.
