Mateen Enterprises batted first against QP Stars with opener Amir Raja being dismissed early on for just 4 runs. The team however really struggled to get going at any stage with QP bowlers doing well to keep the pressure on and pick wickets at key intervals. Junaid's 22 and Abu Huraira's 20 were the only other notable contributions with the exception of Shah Hussain whose 45 run knock at the top gave their side some hope. Muhammad Arshad was key in taking 3 wickets for his side while Wajid Khan and Muhammad Shamshad picked up 2 wickets each. Mateen Enterprises ended at a decent 167 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, QP Stars were outdone by a fantastic display of bowling by Mateen Enterprises with Muhammad Hassan leading the attack. With the exception of cameos by Muhammad Arshad and Muhammad Younus of 28 and 26 runs respectively, the rest of the team fell apart, throwing away their wickets without effectively contributing. Akthar Muhammad and Rehman Ghani also took 2 wickets each with Ishtiaq Ahmed picking up a wicket as QP Star were restricted to a low 129 for 9 in 20 overs.
Mateen Enterprises won by 38 runs.
