FA Sports batted first against Alpha CC with Ali Waqas being dismissed for duck! The team struggled against the opposition, losing wickets consistently, unable to get going at any stage of the innings. Fayyaz's 36 and Hakeem's 38 were the most notable contributions for their side as Alpha CC bowlers did well to keep the pressure on. Jawad Ali lead the attack with 3 wickets while Areeb Naveed and Muneeb Khan took 2 wickets each as FA Sports ended at 175 runs.
In response, Alpha CC struggled in their chase with only Faizan Azam's 38 and Daniyal Ahmed's 35 showing any fight. The team continued to throw away some decent starts and could not get a partnership going. Muhammad Sufiyan took 2 wickets while the rest of the bowling unit chipped in to try and stop the flow of runs. Eventually, Alpha CC ended at 156 for 9 in 20 overs.
