Karachi Gymkhana and Super Daddy cc locked horns at Karachi Gymkhana club ground. KG batted first and Taha Zindani with 21 runs and Arsalan with 43 runs got them off to a good start. Three quick wickets of Shaz, Abid and Ahmer fell in quick succession and then Akber Ali with 39 runs and Fareed Kasi with 30 runs ensured KG ended at a competitive 176 for the loss of 6 wickets in 23 overs. For SDCC, Mansoor and Muhammad Naveed took 2 wickets each while Shahzad Jumani picked up a wicket.
In reply, SDCC lost 3 quick wickets of Adeel Mansha (1), Rehan Sheikh (15) and Shahram Rasool (11). Shahzad Jumani with a brilliant 55 runs fought back but did not get the requisite support from other end as Mannan was out for 3 and Ali Mufti for 7 runs. Muhammad Naveed hit 30 off 27 balls but in the end SDCC ended at 126 for the loss of 7 wickets in 23 overs. For Karachi Gymkhana, Shehryar Malik starred in his spell picking up 3 wickets while M. Husain took 2 wickets and Sajid and Ahmer got a wicket each.
