Malik Associates batted first against Sindh Rana at the Usman Alam Cricket Tournament final. The team did well to put runs on the board with each of their batsmen contributing effectively. Shah Muhammad was the most impressive batsmen for his side with a valuable 59 run knock that helped boost Malik Associates to a very strong 195 for 8 in 20 overs. Habib Khan also contributed with 30 runs. Sindh Rana's bowlers did well to keep the pressure on with Atif Afridi's spell of 3 for 20 playing a key role for his side. Hafeez also picked up 3 wickets while Naqash picked up a couple.
In response, Sindh Rana completely fell apart in the chase. With the exception of opener Zahoor Khan's 83, the rest of the team threw away their wickets, providing no support on the other end. Suleman Ghani also scored a fighting 33 but after he was dismissed the team imploded. Malik's bowlers were merciless against the opposition with Naveed Baloch in particular picking up 4 wickets in his spell. Saeed Hassan and Shakir Wali also took 2 wickets each to dismiss Sindh Rana to 168 in 18.3 overs.
Malik Associates won the match by 27 runs and have won the tournament!
