Terry World Tigers batted first against Karachi Star at the Orchid School Premier League with Rehan Tanoli once again keeping his fine form. The opener smashed 43 runs at the top including 5 boundaries to get his team off to a solid start. Rameez Mehboob also chipped in with 22 runs before a few quick wickets fell. Adeel Abbasi helped things stabilize with a valuable 31 runs as Terry World Tigers ended at 161 for 7 in 20 overs. Stars bowlers were consistent throughout the innings with Fauz Ul Hasan, Umer Khan and Daniyal Gigi picking up 2 wickets each.
In response, Karachi Star struggled to chase down the target with the team continously losing wickets before they could ever get going. After opener Ahmed was dismissed for 2 runs, Jamil Khan put on quite a show, his knock of 51 off 27 runs threatened Tigers bowlers as the team seemed oncourse for a comfortable win. Fauz also chipped in with 22 runs before Fahim Sheikhani's 30 all but took their side home. Tigers bowlers however kept at it with the ever reliable Rehan Tanoli once again coming through for his side. He took 3 quick wickets with Shahzaib and Adeel also chipping in to pick up a couple each. Karachi Star ended at 157 for 9 in 20 overs.
