A one sided affair between Libra Veterans and Friends XI Veterans took place at Asghar Ali Shah stadium. Libra Veterans batted first and notched up a decent 152 for 9 in 20 overs as Kashif Jaagoo got 27 runs and Faraz Qazi scored 47 runs while Khalid Abbasi knocked 16 runs. For Friends XI Veterans, Khalid Sheikh took 3 wickets while Rizwan Diwan got 2 wickets and Naeem, Atyab and Muhammad Jawaid picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Muhammad Jawaid blasted the ball to all parts of the park in his 66 not out but the star of the show was the ever dependable Atif Ahmed who contributed 82 not out off just 43 balls and he hit 4 boundaries and 8 mega hits for sixes during his knock. It was a one sided affair as Friends XI Veterans did not lose a single wicket and raced home comfortably in just 16 overs.
