The first semi final of the Adamjee Tape Ball League took place between Hurricanes and Titans with Hurricanes batting first. The team however lost opener Shahjahan and one down Javed Peer for duck. Inam Khan however then stepped in to save his side with a valuable 42 runs off just 21 balls including 4 giant sixes. He was further supported by Raza Chaudhery who scored 21 not out as Hurricanes ended at 83 for 4 in 8 overs. Titans bowlers were in form and on fire with Muhammad Asad taking 2 key wickets for his side. Kashif Ali and Iqbal Ahmed also picked up a wicket each.
In response, Titans also lost opener M Iqbal Khan cheaply for just 1 run but were able to recover after that. Abdul's 26, Mansoor Ahmed's 24 and 18 runs by Dilip Kumar helped Titans chase down the target comfortably in 5.5 overs. Inam and Waseem picked up a wicket each in vain.
Titans won by 7 wickets and are through to the finals of the tournament.
