The opening match of the Memon Cricket League was played between Kutiyana Kings and Bantva Lions at RLCA. Kutiyana Kings batted first with their team struggling to put runs on the board. PSL sensation Danish Aziz was the only notable player contributing a very valuable 47 runs at the top while the rest of the team imploded. Bantva Lions bowlers were in aggressive form, picking up wickets in regular intervals. Umair Yousuf, Ubaid Umer and Bilal Omer took 2 wickets each as Kutiyana Kings ended at a low 125 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
In response, Bantva Lions lost opener Bilal Omer for duck thanks to a fantastic piece of bowling by Maroof Aziz. With a low total to chase however, the team recovered well with Saad Faisal's 29 and Umair Yousuf's 39 helping their side to a comfortable victory in 18.4 overs. Maroof Aziz, Danish Aziz took 2 wickets each while Hunain Usman picked up a wicket.
Bantva Lions won by 5 wickets.
