Familar rivals OGS Class of 96 went head to head against OGS Class of 98! 96 batted first and were off to a rocky start losing their top order cheaply as Umair Ansari, Hashir Majeed and Bilal Sikander all threw away their wickets. Ali Ahmed however stood firm on one end contributing a valuable 44 runs and Waleed's 17 and a blistering 52 off 31 by Taimoor Butt and Tayyab's 16 helped stabilize the innings. Cavish Farrukh starred with the ball picking up 3 wickets in his spell while Saad Khamisani also picked up a wicket but 96 were impressively able to post a target of 178 runs.
In response, the Class of 98 fell apart in the chase. With the exception of Saad Khamisani's 32 and Adnan's 29, the rest of the team were nothing to write home about, throwing away their wickets as 96 bowlers closed in. Waleed, Umer Ghazi and Hashir Majeed took 2 wickets each while Tayyab, Shayan and Ali picked up a wicket each to restrict 98' to 156 runs.
Class of 96 won the match by 22 runs.
