QP Star batted first against Dastagir Strikers in a match that turned into a one sided affair. Openers Wajid Khan and Taha Riaz got their side off to a decent start with knocks of 36 and 23 runs respectively while one down Muhammad Arshad chipped in with 21. The team however simply couldn't take off at any stage with their batsmen throwing away their wickets, unable to build an innings. Strikers bowlers did well to limit the opposition Usama Hanif being the key player for his side, picking up 3 wickets for just 15 runs in his spell. QP Star ended at 151 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response, Dastagir Strikers literally collapsed in the chase with their side being dismissed for just 97 runs. Usama Hanif was the top scorer for his side with 18 runs while the rest of the side simply fell apart. All rounder Wajid Khan Bangash was in form and on fire, taking 2 wickets in his spell with Muhammad Shamshad and Raheel Iftikhar also taking 2 each to dismiss Strikers in 17.1 overs.
QP Star won by 54 runs.
