Butt Brothers beat Alpha CC by 32 runs at the Asifabad Ground this week.
Butt Brothers took to bat first and established a total of 109 runs in 19.1 overs before being all out. Waleed Ilyas made 29 from 27, Saqib Khan made 15 from 26 and Zubair Ahmed made 16 from 14. Muhammad Umair Shaikh took three wickets while Arif Yaqoob took two and Aman Burney, Fayyaz Hussain Warsi and Waqas Iqbal took one each.
Arif Yaqoob from Alpha CC hit the ground running as he scored an opening 20 runs from 14 balls. Despite his efforts though, the rest of the team did not follow suit and the wickets started falling quickly. They were all out after making just 77 runs. Mohsin Saleem was spectacular with four wickets taken, Khalid Khursheed Kaka took two and Saqib Khan, Kamran Butt, Yousuf Jetpur and Owais Pasta took one each.
