The action filled match between TPL and Takaful ended in a tie at the CAA Ground, last week.
TPL came out with full force, as opener Kashif Rajput made 27 from 21, followed by 16 from 16 by Anwar Sabih, 20 from 15 by Aashir Siddiqui and 29 from 15 by Ali Haider. The team managed to make 146 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Junaid Tabish and his aggressive bowling took him three wickets while Kamran M Hanif, Habib Ullah Khan and Shehroz Haider took two wickets each.
Takaful Pakistan came out guns blazing as opener Hammad Mughal made 19 from 18 and Mazhar Abbas Zaidi 28 from 23. Ahmed Maqsood Baig revived the innings with 52 from 32, in the middle and a last minute 17 from 14 by Ikram Ullah Khan helped push the total to 146 to tie the game. Syed Ather Ahmed Jafri took three wickets while Kashif Rajput and Muhammad Kamran came through with two wickets each of their own.
