Week 1 of the Memon Super League just rounded up and there were some exciting matches in store.
In the first match, the Gigi Gladiators were victorious against Classic Garments, beating them by 3 wickets. Classic Garments won the toss and chose to bat first. They managed to make 97 runs thanks to 22 from 22 by Bilal Umer and 29 from 30 by Mirza Shoaib. Ejaz Shah was outstanding with his three wickets while Rehan Tanoli and Mustafa Fattani took two and Afzal Gigi and Osama Ayub took one. Classic Garments gave a tough time to the Gladiators with their bowling but in the end the Gladiators prevailed thanks to some impressive batting from Yousuf Halari and Afroze Ul Hassan.
In the second bout, Benitoz won over Archi Homes Patriots, beating them by a close four runs. Benitoz made a total of 152 thanks to impressive back to back knocks by Shakir Serang (36 from 17) and Sumail Aziz (38 from 38). Hassan Mehmood was quite impressive with his three wickets in this innings. Archi Homes came very close to victory with Adeel Khan making 42 from 21 and Adeel Abbasi making 39 from 32. Mohib Ahsen was instrumental in the victory for Benitoz as he took four wickets.
In the third match, Suleman Textile Stallions beat TNP Titans by a staggering eight wickets. TNP were all out after making just 83 runs in 17.4 overs. Thanks to the aggressive bowling from Suleman, they weren't really able to score well. Adeel Rashid and Mamoon Imtiaz lead the charge by taking two wickets each. Suleman made quick work of the total by chasing it in just 13.1 overs because of 29 from 30 by Shahryar Ghani and 47 from 43 by Shahid Mirani.
