In a dominant display last week, the Royal Stars absolutely demolished Sharfabad United, beating them by 57 runs.
The Royal Stars put up 135 on the scoreboard in 18 overs for the loss of six wickets. Openers Khizar Azam and Umer Ishtiaq made 23 and 29 runs respectively. Haris Ahmed came through in the later stages with 23 from 21, not out and thanks to some poor bowling from Sharfabad, the Royal Stars took advantage of 22 extra runs. Amir Hanif and Sadiq Suriya took two wickets each while Mujtaba and Muhammad Muzammil took one wicket each.
Sharfabad fell victim to some aggressive bowling from the Royal Stars who had them all out in 14 overs for just 78 runs scored. Asif Khan took three wickets while Waleed Azim took two and Waleed Tariq, Muhammad Sohail and Mustafa Fattani took one each.
