Saeed Akhtar beat the Star Fighter by five wickets at the Hill Park Ground, last week in what was truly a heated contest.
Star Fighters were off to an amazing start as opener Hussain made 41 from 19, Naveed Hafeez smashed 46 from 43 not out and Naeem Aziz made a half century in just 23 balls while also being not out. Khurram Ahmed took two wickets while Saad Bin Yousuf and Khuzaima Bin Tanveer took one each.
Saeed Akhtar were off to a fiery start as well as opener Zohaib Ahmed made 41 from 32. Shahzaib Dyer made 29 from 30. Raja Saqlain Abbas smashed 31 from just 10 and Bilal made 30 from 17 to chase the target in 19.2 overs. Hussain took two wickets while Immad, Naeem Aziz and Waqar Azeem took one each.
