Askari Life beat Century Insurance by five wickets at the Hill Park Ground last week.
Century Insurance put on a poor showing and really struggled with their batting. The highest runs in this innings came from Imran Hussain (23 from 27) and Samar Abbas (25 from 13). Umar Khan and Wajih Nasim took two wickets each while Talha Arshad, Asfar Zaidi, Muhammad Ahmed and Atif Usman Malik took one each.
Despite a poor opening performance, Askari Life came back in a major way as Qamar Alam made 36 from 37 while Noman Muhammad made 29 from 41. Danish Nafees Ahmed took two wickets while Rameez Mehboob, Murtaza Muhammad Younus and Mirza Saqib Baig took one wicket each.
