Alliance Sports beat Suleman Textile Stallions by 30 runs at the CAA Ground last week.
After losing their opening batsman for 1 run, Alliance bounced back as Ghulam Mustufa made 48 from 31. Faisal Ghouri made 32 from 27 and Talha Butt made 33 from 23. Taha took two wickets while Naveed Rangoonia and Shehzad Suleman took one each.
Suleman Textile were well short of the target despite an impressive comeback towards the middle order by Zeeshan Haider (43 from 37) and Shehzad Suleman (22 from 23, not out). Raza Ahmed Khalid took three massive wickets followed by two from Ashraf Khan and one by Khurram Rangila.
