In the final of the Ash Cup 2019 Season 8, the United Stars absolutely crushed QRCC beating them by 63 runs at the Eastern Star Ground.
The United Stars took to bat first and made 143 in 20 overs for the loss of ten wickets. Azfar Khalid made 23 from 19, Abdul Rehman made 50 from 44 and M Arsalan made 35 from 26. Kamil Mehmood took four wickets while Mukarram took two and Zohaib and Umer Khan took one.
QRCC couldn't handle the bowling onslaught and was only able to make 80 runs before being all out. Fayyaz Hussain lead the bowling attack by taking four massive wickets while Azhar Ali Shah, M Arsalan and Uzair Ahmed took two wickets each thus earning the United Stars a dominant victory.
