Gladiators CC batted first against Azad CC with the only effective contributors being their openers. Saleem Sattar top scored for his side with 29 runs while Ameen Khan chipped in with 26 runs while the rest of their side imploded. Azad bowlers kept things tight, picking up wickets regularly to keep the pressure on. Asim, Rehan, Abdul Rafay and Khalid took 2 wickets each as Gladiators CC ended at a modest 115 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Azad CC were off to a rough start after they lost opener Rameez Mehboob for just 1 run. The team however recovered after that, losing wickets regularly but posting minor contributions to keep the scoreboard ticking. Abdul Rafay's 38, Rehan's 19 and Salman and Shehryar's 17 and 16 respectively helped their side chase down the target in 18.4 overs. Sufyan Butt took 3 wickets while Yasir Ahsan picked up a couple but all in vain.
