MSL Week 4 wrapped up last week with an excitement filled series of matches.
TNP Titans took out Benitoz in Week 4. The solid partnership of Mohib Ahsen and Madni Waqas Raja was on a tear as they made 79 runs combined. Unfortunately for them, Ram Ravi led TNP to victory by making 59 from 38 and with a little support carried the Titans ti victory.
Rims Lions beat Classic Garments in a hotly contested match-up. 33 from 31 by Bilal Umer and 70 from 43 by Kami Mehmood was devastating. However Afnan Karim and Muhammad Waseem stole the show as the former made 105 from just 60 while the latter made 50 from 43 to give the Rims the victory.
Suleman Textile were victorious against Gigi Gladiators in one of the opening bouts this week. A poor batting performance from the Gladiators was easily capitalized upon by the Stallions batting order. Shahryar Ghani made 39 from 47 while Fahad Jabbar made 31 from 35 to give Suleman Textile the victory.
TNP Titans beat Gigi Gladiators. The Gladiators made 141 runs in 20 overs thanks to 57 from 47 by Owais Rehmani and 27 from 21 by Osama Ayub. Farhan Arif, Maroof Aziz and Muhammad Ali took two wickets each. Fareed Shah led the titans to victory by making 72 from 46 despite the Titans taking heavy losses during their innings.
ArchiHomes managed to beat Rims Lions in dominant fashion. The duo of Dawood Dawson and Hassan Mehmood made a combined total of 90 runs which helped ArchiHomes get to 176 in 20 overs. Afnan Karim was the leading wicket taker in this innings with three wickets. Despite Waseem Ali's 64 from 29 and the efforts of the rest of the batting order, Rims Lions just couldn't chase the target.
Wintex beat Suleman Textile as Ali Iqbal and Zeeshan Haider were seemingly unstoppable as they smashed 75 from 41 and 88 from 46 respectively. Wintex made nearly two hundred runs for the loss of just three wickets. Fahad Jabbar's 54 from 36 and 46 from 39 by Adeel Rasheed were still not enough to give Suleman Textile the win.
