KG Demons batted first on their home ground against Extras at the 1st Bold KK Amateur League. Taha Zindani got his side off to a flying start with 60 off 38 balls including 7 boundaries and 1 six. Arsalan Malik chipped in with 24 but Umair Usman really helped move things along with 47 off 30. Extras bowler Sufiyan Arshad picked up 2 wickets for his side with Asad, Bilal Hayat and Zohaib picking up a wicket each. KG Demons however were in the driving seat for most of the innings and ended at 181 for 6 in 20 overs.
In response, Extras put up a good fight in the chase. The top order scored adequately, with Hamza, Atif, Irfan and Bilal contributing 29, 28, 31 and 21 respectively to give their side a real chance. After they were dismissed however, there was a flurry of quick wickets with the side unable to find any stable footing. Hassan Sadiq's 16 and Zohaib's 22 pulled them back in the game after that but unfortunately couldn't get their team over the line. KG Demons bowlers Sheryar Malik and Shaaz Shajani caused maximum damage, picking up 3 wickets each.
An exciting match came to an end as KG Demons won by 10 runs.
