MSL Week 6 recently came to a close and it was nothing short of action packed as every team brought their A game to this series.
In one of the opening matches, TNP Titans beat the Rims Lions by 38 runs in one of the most exciting matches of the tournament. TNP Titans came to bat first and started absolutely smashing. Farhan Arif made 44 frrom 32, Ram Ravi made 76 from 38 and Fareed Shah made 68 from 36. The Rims Lions answered back as Afnan Karim made 54 from 35, A Rehman Bawany made 30 from 25 and Usama Sikander made 38 from 23. Muhammad Ali took three massive wickets while Mohsin Saleem took two.
Suleman Textile Stallions beat Benitoz by seven wickets. Benitoz were first on the pitch and made 96 runs thanks to 20 from 13 by Shakir Serang and 27 from 29 by Mohib Ahsen. Hamza Qadir and Taha Arsalan took three wickets each to make a big dent in the Benitoz line-up. Suleman Textile Stallionss chased the target in 16.2 overs thanks to 31 from 41 by Shahryar Ghani and 51 from 40 by Fahad Jabbar.
The Gigi Gladiators beat the ArchiHomes Patriots in dominant fashion. ArchiHomes Patriots came to bat first. Yasir Tanveer made 55 from 46 and the rest of the batting order followed with a flurry of consistent batting. Osama Ayub and Ejaz Shah took two wickets each. Rehan Tanoli demolished the target by making 87 from 43 while Ahmed Moten made 32 from 24 and Aasi Awan made 31 from 16..
Classic Garments beat Wintex Strikers by eight wickets. Wintex Strikers were first to bat and made 176 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Ali Iqbal made 37 from 25 as the highest scorer of the innings. Mirza Shoaib and Imran Idrees took two wickets each. Classic Garments chased the target in 17.3 overs as Rameez Mehboob made 91 from 46 and Kamil Mehmood made 76 from 46 to help Classic pick up the easy win.
Rims Lions then went on to beat Benitoz in another action packed contest. Rims Lions were first to bat and right from the start Afnan Karim made 45 from 39 while Waseem Ali made 75 from 41. Salman Dossani and Madni Waqas Raja took two wickets each. Benitoz gave it their best but in the end it was not enough. Mohib Ahsen made 61 from 43. Rims Lions were spectacular with their bowling with almost every bowler taking two wickets each.
Next up, the TNP Titans absoultely crushed ArchiHomes Patriots. TNP Titans made 178 in 20 overs. Talha Ahmedani made 44 from 22 while Fareed Shah made 83 from 49. ArchiHomes put up a good fight as Hassan Mehmood made 51 from 27 while Adnan Salim made 38 from 30. Fareed Shah took three wickets while Farhan Arif took four massive wickets.
Wintex Strikers beat Gigi Gladiators. Wintex won the toss and chose to field. Gladiators came to bat and Ejaz Shah made 46 from 31 as the highest scorer of the innings. Sameer Ahmedani took three big wickets while Saad Dawood, Ahmed Hussain and Hammad Sheikhani took two wickets.
Classic Garments beat Suleman Textile Stallions as Bilal Umer shined by making 94 from 43 to grant a dominant victory for his team. From Suleman Textile Stallions, Hamza Qadir was really impressive making 52 from 33. Naveed Rangoonia from Classic Garments took three wickets while Kamil Mehmood took two wickets.
