Gomal CC batted first against Okhai Friends this past Sunday with opener Faisal Aman being tragically run out for duck. Gomal CC however managed to put together a few decent cameos to help their side reach a respectable 143 for 5 in 20 overs. Asif Burki's 28 and Abdul Rafay and Ghazanfar's 36 run knocks were the most notable of their side. Okhai bowlers did well to restrict the opposition with each player chipping in.
In response, Okhai Friends star opener Ahmed Sharjeel turned up for his side with a blistering 61 off 36 which put his side on top. The chasing side continued to dominate with Sabir Rehman scoring a valuable 49 not out as Okhai Friends chased down the target in 16 overs. Gomal bowlers were ineffective against the formidable batting line up.
Okhai Friends won by 8 wickets.
