Diamond Homes batted first against Strikers CC at the NAC Cup ( A partnership of KheloKricket and SportsFever360).
The batting side however lost their top order cheaply and were saved by Mohib Ahsan's 22 and an unbelievable knock of 69 off 50 by Adeel Shamsi. Asadullah Nawab was brutal in his spell, picking up 4 wickets for just 13 runs while Rehan Tanoli, Faisal Shah and Uzair Hanif took a wicket each to keep the batting side under pressure. Diamond Homes ended at 148 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Strikers CC fell apart in the chase. After opener Rehan was dismissed for duck, the team continued to throw away their wickets. Ejaz Shah's 22 and 31 and 32 runs by Waqar Hafiz and Zafar Shah were the only notable contributions to their side as Strikers CC ended at 131 for 8 in 20 overs. Adeel Shamsi, Jawad Ali, Mohib Ahsan and Fayyaz Hussain took 2 wickets each.
