Batting first, Diamond Homes were off to a rocky start after losing opener Ahmed Hussain and one down Syed Inam Agha cheaply. The team continued to lose wickets throughout the innings, unable to really get going at any stage. Muhammad Yousuf Halari was the only player to show any intent with a fighting 44 while the rest of the side chipped in with minor cameos to stumble to 145 for 9 in 20 overs. Naveed Ahmed and Shoaib Ibrahim took 2 wickets each while the Al Jannat bowlers continued to pick wickets and keep things tight.
In response, Zain Anwars's explosive 87 off 55 all but confirmed the victory for Al Jannat Fast Foods at the top. With the foundation set, the rest of the batting line up only needed a few runs to keep the scoreboard ticking and were able to chase down the target in 18.4 overs. Fayyaz Hussain Warsi was the key bowler with 2 wickets but was unable to defend his team's total.
