Umair Ton Does It For Warriors

ST Warriors batted first against QP Stars in a friendly match played at Eidgah Ground. They got a perfect start as the opener Umair scored an unbeatable ton. He made 104 off just 65 deliveries which included 9 fours and 1 six. His partner Sattar supported him from the other end with 30 runs. Ali in the last quarter of the innings also pulled off a quick 41 runs to boost his side to a competitive 189 for 4 in 20 overs. QP Star bowlers could do nothing to stop the flow of runs, unable to pick wickets when they most needed. Shamshad was the key wicket taker with 2 wickets.

In response, QP Stars batsmen needed a solid partnership to chase down the total. Opener Faheem and Arshad from the lower-middle order scored 35 and 37 runs while none of the other batsmen were able to score effectively. Warriors continued to rip Stars apart in the second innings as they got them all-out for 169 runs. Zohaib was the leading wicket taker claiming 2 wickets with the rest of the unit doing well to keep things tight.

ST Warriors won by 20 runs.
