Arsalan Iqbal CC batted first against Arham CC at the NAC Cup (A partnership of KheloKricket and SportsFever360).
Batting first, the team lost opener Pervaiz Ali and one down Irteza Khan cheaply but what a recovery they had after that. Ammar Iqbal took off with an incredible 60 off 30 at a strike rate of 200 but it was Daniyal Liaquat who somehow managed to top that. Daniyal was unstoppable in his 127 off 49 at a mammoth strike rate of 259 including 8 fours and 13 sixes. Arsalan Iqbal CC ended at 242 for 3 in 18 overs. Arham CC bowlers were absolutely helpless, unable to put any pressure after the initial breakthroughs.
In response, Arham CC simply could not chase down this unattainable total. Danish Munir and Imran Shah however fought hard to give their side a real chance. Danish knocked 45 off 25 while Imran remained not out on 74 off 47. None of the other players however were able to build an innings or a partnership and with the scoreboard pressure always there, they were reduced to 179 for 6 in 18 overs. Hamza Qadir took 2 wickets for Arsalan.
Arsalan Iqbal CC won by 63 runs.
