Bilal Fighters batted first against Al Zohaib Caracrete in another match of the SPL Season 4.
The whole batting unit however failed miserably, crumbling to a low 116 for 8 in 20 overs. The leading run scorers from their side were Asif and Shoaib from down the middle order who scored 25 and 26 runs respectively. Ali Iqbal and Farhan scored 16 runs each while none of the other batsmen were able to score effectively. Al Zohaib bowlers kept things tight and confined Fighters to a total of 116 runs only. Mustafa and Asad from the bowling side picked up 2 wickets each.
Al Zohaib in their turn got an early blow as they lost the opener Adeel for 0. One down Salman Sanghani also lost his wicket for just 3 runs but the team recovered easily after that. Haider scored a sensational 62 off 54 while Rameez Mehboob played a supporting knock of 29. Fighters bowlers were unable to take any more wickets and with a low total to chase, Al Zohaib were able to easily secure the target in 17 overs.
Al Zohaib Caracrete won by 7 wickets.
