Sky Hawks Bowlers Restrict Hill Park

Sky Hawks batted first against Hill Park CC at the 24th Challengers Cup.

Hawks however were off to a shaky start after opener Saad Razzak fell for duck. Things did not get any easier after that with the team losing wickets in quick succession throughout the innings. Abid Malik and Rao Waqas were the most notable players for their side with knocks of 39 runs each as Sky Hawks managed to scrape 131 for 9 in 20 overs. Hill Park bowlers did well to limit the opposition with Shah Hussain and Yasir Manzoor taking 3 wickets each and Salman Asif picking up a couple.

In response, Hill Park CC were never really in the chase. Hawks bowlers did well to keep things tight, picking up wickets but also not giving any runs away. With the exception of Waleed Khan's 29, none of the other batsmen were able to effectively contribute as Hill Park CC were limited to 89 for 9 in 20 overs. Imran Ali lead the bowling attack with his 3 wickets while Sajid Ashfaq and Sana Ullah took 2 wickets each.

Sky Hawks won by 42 runs.
