UT Sports Challengers batted first against Alliance Sports at the SPL Season 4.
With the top order of Bilal Majeed, Usman Ghani and Zeeshan Haider all dismissed cheaply, UT Sports were never really in the game. Adamjee Tai and Muhammad Waseem tried to string an innings together with knocks of 38 and 21 respectively but the team continued to lose wickets. Alliance Sports bowlers did well to restrict the opposition with Ameer Raza Khan and Umer Chawla leading the attack with 3 wickets each. Hanif Khan also chipped in with 2 wickets.
In response, with a low total to chase, Alliance Sports kept the momentum going. Ameer Raza Khan, Tariq Sheikhani and Atif Ahmed all but sealed the win for their team. Atif top scored with 33 off 29. Alliance Sports chased down the target in 17 overs. Challengers bowlers were relatively weak but Ali Ammar was outstanding in his spell, taking 3 wickets and giving almost nothing away.
Alliance Sports won by 4 wickets.
