Alliance Sports batted first against Strikers CC at the 24th Challengers Cup. The batting side however struggled against the opposition, throwing away their wickets throughout the innings. With the exception of Tariq Sheikhani and Ubais Ullah Khan's minor cameos of 23 and 21, the team were restricted to 119 for 9 in 20 overs. Strikers bowler were outstanding in their spells. Hannan Achakzai bowled an unbelievable spell of 3 wickets giving away just 1 run in his over. Adnan also picked up a couple.
In response, Strikers CC's Hannan was unstoppable, contributing with the bat this time with a handy 29 at the top. With a low total to chase, Mir Fahad's 25 and Yasir Tanveer's 23 helped Strikers CC chase down the target comfortably despite a quick wickets later in the innings.
